Getting started

I have been thinking. I have been wondering. I have been considering – Now I am doing it: writing my first blog from a new position. akijava.com.

This isn’t the real truth. I wrote several contributions some years ago in my native language and english. Among other headlines – a story about my trip from Copenhagen to Rio with Abanda, a danish samba orchestra including dancers and my fantastic brother, drummer and multi instrumentalist Ole Romer as the leader. That was in 2011. But i cannot find the blog… … …                   it disappeared.

But let me introduce myself. My name is Hanne Romer. I will soon be 68 years old, and I am a trained musician, composer, arranger and conductor – as well as a music teacher and german teacher. My main instruments are  tenor, baritone, and soprano saxophones a well as my voice. I call myself a part time senior, still conducting the choir: Round about Vocals – RAV, and still teaching part time.

The last couple of years I have studied writing on different platforms and courses. I am writing a novel, and I have been writing the first part of what I would call an autobiography.

I am seeing the blog as the possibility to express myself in different areas. About music, about writing, about creativity, about traveling, about fun experiences with my family and friends, but most of all a platform to communicate thoughts of any kind.

I am not quite sure how this platform works – but I intend to find out. It seems as if pressing update – it goes out “there”. And I don’t know where ?
